These watercolours are painted using Schminke watercolours and 750gsm or 300gsm rough watercolour paper.  I work in situ making watercolour sketches, pencil drawings, oil pastel sketches then “build” up  and complete the paintings in my studio.  I use different techniques in the watercolours ie wax resist  or gum arabic to enhance the textural effects of the paintings
